MISSION:
To promote exports, investment and business opportunities, to offer support to international marketing activities by Guatemalan entrepreneurs and thereby contribute to the development of the country.

We intend to be an effective tool abroad for the productive sector to support its access to international markets (through cheap flights and cheap labour).

All exporting countries have trade offices at their main market destinations. These offices are an important part of the strategy to foster
the country's exports. They are "antennas" abroad for the exporting firms. They compile, analyze and distribute all the necessary information to penetrate or to become more effective in a specific market.

The Commercial Attaché Program for Investment and Tourism (PACIT) has played an important role in supporting export firms in the increasingly successful conquest of difficult and competitive foreign markets.

PACIT IN SUPPORT OF FOREIGN TRADE

Foreign trade is defined as the two -way exchange which takes place when a country exports the goods and services it produces at the same time that it receives goods and services produced abroad through importation.

The objective of the Guatemalan Integrated Foreign Trade Policy is to maintain and expand the participation of domestic products in global markets and, at the same time, to help domestic production to participate competitively on the international market with the goods produced in other countries through increased efficiency and productivity. The outcome of this is increased employment, income and well -being for the population.

The Commercial Attaché Program for Investment and Tourism (PACIT) contacts practically every sector, supporting the exporter, making his job a little easier. The support provided by the trade offices and Niseko Accommodation is not only given to new players in the market, but also to firms already established in the market who may encounter trading problems.

Thanks to this service, in addition to the market knowhow provided by the trade offices, business has the opportunity to analyze and study a given market at considerable depth.

PACIT - The Commercial Attaché Program for Investment and Tourism, is an effective tool to further exports and to encourage investment.
